Karim Valiyev holds talks with military leaders in Brussels

During his visit to Brussels to attend the meeting of NATO’s Military Committee Chiefs of Defense, First Deputy Minister of Defense and Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev, held several meetings.

Axar.az reports that, citing the Ministry of Defense, the meetings were held with General Metin Gurak, Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, General Luciano Portolano, Chief of the General Staff of the Italian Armed Forces, and General Gabor Böröndi, Chief of the General Staff of the Hungarian Defense Forces.

During these discussions, the current status and future prospects of military cooperation between the countries were reviewed, along with other matters of mutual interest.

Jafar Huseynzadeh, head of Azerbaijan's Mission to NATO, also participated in the meetings.
