The Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan will not comment on unofficial information regarding the crash of an Azerbaijan Airlines plane until the preliminary report is published.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the ministry's press service.

"The Aviation Accident Investigation Commission of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan continues its work to determine the causes of the incident.Until the publication of the Preliminary Rеport, the Commission will not comment on internet information that lacks any official source," the statement reads.

It should be noted that some Russian media outlets have published a transcript of the conversations of the AZAL pilots. It is claimed that the commander of Azerbaijan Airlines' Embraer E190 aircraft independently decided to fly back to Baku, while Russian air traffic controllers suggested several options for landing on Russian territory.
