Turkiye resumes flights to Syria after 12-year pause

Turkish Airlines (THY) will resume flights to Damascus, the capital of Syria.

Axar.az reports that the airline announced this decision.

The company stated that the first flight to Damascus is scheduled for January 23.

It is noted that there will be three flights per week to Damascus.

Flights between Turkiye and Syria were previously suspended in 2012.
