Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian arrived in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, on an official visit at the invitation of his counterpart Emomali Rahmon.

Axar.az reports that Tajikistan's President Emomali Rahmon welcomed the Iranian President at Dushanbe Airport.

The Iranian president is scheduled to hold talks with President Rahmon and other senior Tajik officials. Pezeshkian is expected to sign new agreements in Tajikistan to expand cooperation in agriculture, science, industry, trade, transportation, and mining.

Pezeshkian will wrap up his trip to Tajikistan on Friday morning when he will depart for Moscow for an official visit at the invitation of President Vladmir Putin.
