IRGC to hold 12,000-member drill with Basij forces

On January 19, the IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) will conduct a 12,000-member drill with the participation of "Basij" (volunteer forces) members.

Axar.az reports that this information was shared by Gholamhossein Mohammadi Asl, the commander of the IRGC's "Hazrat Abbas" headquarters in Ardabil Province.

"The 12,000-member drill of the IRGC is aimed at demonstrating the comprehensive preparedness and strength of Basij members against all kinds of threats," he stated.
