Ilham Aliyev meets with Latvian President in Davos

On January 21, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with the President of the Republic of Latvia, Edgars Rinkevics, in Davos at the request of the latter.

Axar.az reports that Edgars Rinkevics happily recalled his previous meetings with the President of Azerbaijan.

The President of Latvia stated that today’s meeting provided a good opportunity to discuss bilateral relations.

Edgars Rinkevics also expressed his condolences to the President of Azerbaijan regarding those who lost their lives in the plane crash.

President Aliyev thanked Rinkevics for his condolences.

President Ilham Aliyev, in turn, emphasized the importance of today’s meeting in terms of discussing the prospects for cooperation between the two countries.
