Al-Jazeera prepares program about Azerbaijani mugham

Qatar’s "Al Jazeera" television channel has aired a program about Azerbaijani mugham.

Axar.az reports that the channel’s reporter, Nik Clark, presented a half-hour program featuring an interview with People's Artist Alim Qasimov and Honored Artist Fargana Qasimova of Azerbaijan.

He noted that Alim Gasimov with a voice that transcends borders, bridges ancient traditions and contemporary relevance, weaving timeless stories into his art.

The performers, Alim Qasimov and Fargana Qasimova, shared their thoughts on the art of mugham.
