President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier will make his first official visits to Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Axar.az informs citing Repоrt informs referring to the press service of the German president.

The visit will take place from March 30 to April 2, Steinmeier will be accompanied by his wife Elke Büdenbender.

As part of the visit to Armenia, meetings with President Vahagn Khachaturyan and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan are planned.

Steinmeier will also participate in a number of cultural events. In Azerbaijan, Steinmeier will hold meetings with officials.

The agenda of the trip includes a visit to the Icherisheher Architectural Reserve in Baku and meetings with representatives of Christian, Muslim and Jewish religious communities of Azerbaijan.
