Azerbaijan army positions fired upon, EU sends patrol

After the Azerbaijani Army positions were fired upon three times by Armenian Armed Forces units yesterday, the EU mission in Armenia sent a patrol to the border.

Axar.az reports "On 16-17 March, EUMA dispatched patrols to various locations along the AM-AZ border. The situation remains calm and quiet, with no unusual activity observed," the statement by EU mission in Armenia reads.

Notably, on March 16, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense reported three instances of fire from the Armenian Armed Forces targeting Azerbaijani positions in the southeastern part of the border zone.
