US President Donald Trump announced that negotiators have discussed "dividing up certain assets" as part of ongoing efforts to end the Russia- Ukraine war.

Axar.az, citing CNN, reports that Trump plans to speak with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday, following a US-proposed 30-day ceasefire accepted by Ukraine.

Discussions have included land and power plants, though territorial concessions remain a major sticking point.

Putin’s response has been ambiguous. Moscow agrees to the proposal in theory but demands significant concessions from Kyiv.

Some European leaders and NATO allies are concerned about Trump's willingness to grant concessions to Russia.

US envoy Steve Witkoff described the talks as productive but did not clarify how territorial disputes would be resolved. Meanwhile, Putin expressed interest in improving US-Russia relations.
