The visit of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to Azerbaijan is on the agenda.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the spokesperson of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmail Baghaei.

Baghaei confirmed that the visit of the Iranian President to Azerbaijan is on the agenda, adding: "The timing of the visit and other details are being discussed with Azerbaijani counterparts."

He also provided information about the appointment of Iran's ambassador to Azerbaijan, stating that the process is ongoing: "The appointment of the ambassador is in progress, and we hope it will be finalized soon."
