Azerbaijan called on the Armenian side to fulfill its international human rights and humanitarian law obligations and share accurate information about mines planted en masse during the occupation of the territory of Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs published information on this on its X account.

It was noted that an important step has been taken towards the recognition of the rights of mine victims in the United Nations Human Rights Council:

“Azerbaijan, as a true co-sponsor, welcomes the adoption of the resolution “The impact of anti-personnel mines on the full enjoyment of all human rights” at the 58th session of the UN Human Rights Council.”
