Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan has been dismissed from his position.

Axar.az reports the information was released by the Armenian government's press service.

It was stated that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed a decree dismissing Paruyr Hovhannisyan from his role as Deputy Foreign Minister.

The reason for his dismissal was not disclosed.

Hovhannisyan was appointed Deputy Foreign Minister on November 9, 2021. Prior to that, he served as Armenia’s representative to the Council of Europe.
