Despite temporary ceasefires announced for earthquake relief, fighting continues in Myanmar.

Axar.az, citing BBC, reports that the military and a rebel alliance each accused the other of breaking the truce declared after the 7.7-magnitude quake on March 28.

The death toll has surpassed 3,560, with over 5,000 injured.

The UN reports limited humanitarian access, ongoing hostilities, and worsening conditions as aftershocks and rain hamper rescue efforts. UN officials warn of a "compounding crisis" of disaster, conflict, and chronic humanitarian need.
