Russian combat-ready units have been moved from Pokrovsk to Toretsk.
Axar.az reports that this was stated by Ilya Samoilenko, an officer of the Azov special forces brigade of the Ukrainian army.
He noted that the Russians are preparing for a counterattack in the Kursk region to cross the border: “It cannot be said that the Russians have exhausted their offensive potential.”
In his opinion, we should expect an intensification of Russian offensive actions in the near future, especially against the background of the idea that the war will soon end thanks to negotiations between Moscow and Washington.
When asked whether the spring of 2025 would be decisive in the war, Samoilenko answered:
“I remember that this has been happening since 2023. 2023 - spring-summer should be decisive, 2024 - the same thing. For us, every season is decisive.”
He believes that Russia is not interested in any negotiation process because it has a significant advantage on the battlefield:
"And they understand this advantage... That's why, while everyone here is waiting for the adults to make a decision, the Russians are constantly increasing their successes."
