Gazan family brought to Baku shares story - Video

A Gazan family that was recently brought to Baku in stages has given a statement.

Axar.az reports that the family was brought to Azerbaijan with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) following negotiations between the Azerbaijani government and Israel.

The wife, Naile Elkord, is originally Azerbaijani. In 1992, she married Akram Elkord, a Palestinian who was studying medicine in Baku. After their marriage, they moved to Gaza.

The couple has three daughters. Their lives changed completely after the war that began on October 7, 2023.
