Armenia revises housing rules for Karabakh migrants

The Armenian government has changed the rules for providing housing at state expense to Armenians moving from Karabakh.

Axar.az reports that the country's Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population has published information about this.

The minister states that the mandatory family composition has been changed in the application form for obtaining a certificate within the framework of the state assistance program for providing housing to families moving from Karabakh.

According to the information, persons who have already reached the age of 18 and have applied will not be accepted as separate family members. They will be accepted as part of the same family.

It should be noted that recently, dissatisfaction with the implementation of social packages intended for Karabakh Armenians has increased. It is reported that the government is gradually tightening some rules and requirements.

According to the information, the said persons are not treated normally within the country, and their social needs are not provided at the proper level. Some even claim that they have been subjected to persecution.
