“AzerGold” CJSC held another meeting with local communities in Dashkasan

Axar.az informs that “AzerGold” CJSC’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee held a meeting with citizens in Dashkasan city on the results of the year.

The meeting was attended by Orkhan Abbasov, Head of the Dashkasan District Executive Power, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of AzerGold CJSC, Chairman of the CSR Committee of the CJSC Khayyam Farzaliyev, and Ilgar Jalilov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of AzerGold CJSC, Chairman of the CSR Committee of Dashkasan Demir Filiz LLC.

The event, attended by residents of Dashkasan city, Qushchu, Chovdar, Bayan, and other villages of the region, provided information on the social and environmental projects implemented in 2025 and planned for implementation in 2026 within the framework of the partnership between AzerGold CJSC and Dashkasan Demir Filiz LLC and the Dashkasan District Executive Power.

The Head of the Dashkasan District Executive Power, Orkhan Abbasov, noted that social projects have yielded positive results, especially in the areas of education, employment, and social infrastructure. O. Abbasov noted that the implementation of projects in accordance with the principles of sustainable development creates long-term benefits for the region.

Khayyam Farzaliyev, Chairman of the CSR Committee of AzerGold, noted that the consistent and purposeful activities of the Company towards the development of the mining industry have significantly contributed to the increase in the economic indicators of the region, as well as to its ranking in the top three in the republic in terms of average monthly wages. It was noted that 756 Dashkasan residents, most of whom represent remote villages, have been provided with permanent jobs in the areas of activity of AzerGold CJSC.

It was noted that during 2025, the Company implemented various social projects in the Dashkasan district to make an additional contribution to state policy in the areas of strengthening social welfare, promoting education, cultural enlightenment, promoting sports, etc.

The meeting participants were informed that in 2026, based on the policy of social responsibility, the implementation of projects in education, health, inclusive development, infrastructure, agricultural development, support for farms, environmental protection, and other areas will continue.

Then, citizens' appeals were listened to, and new initiatives were discussed. The meeting also registered the issues raised by citizens for investigation and resolution within the framework of the existing legislation.

Finally, sincere holiday greetings were conveyed to the meeting participants on behalf of AzerGold CJSC on the occasion of December 31 - World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and New Year.
