AYNA provides free transport for Igdir-Nakhchivan route

Due to the temporary suspension of flights at Nakhchivan International Airport, special flights are being operated from Baku to Igdir, Turkiye, to facilitate travel for Azerbaijani citizens between the capital and Nakhchivan.

Axar.az reports that passengers traveling between Igdir and Nakhchivan are provided free transportation by the Azerbaijan Ground Transport Agency (AYNA) via specially allocated shuttle buses.

Transfers from Nakhchivan Bus Terminal to Igdir Airport and back are carried out using seven high-capacity buses, with additional backup vehicles available to ensure smooth operations.

Since March 5, a total of 34 flights have been conducted, moving 1,442 passengers between Nakhchivan and Igdir.

The service continues to operate.
