Over 2,100 citizens evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan

From 8:00 AM on February 28 to 10:00 AM on March 11, a total of 2,168 citizens from 72 countries were evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan.

Axar.az informs 383 of the evacuees are Azerbaijani citizens.

In addition, the evacuees include 633 from China, 293 from Russia, 174 from Tajikistan, 137 from Pakistan, 57 from Oman, 44 from Italy, 32 from Indonesia, 29 from Iran, 26 from Spain, 25 from Algeria, 18 from Saudi Arabia, 17 from Japan, 16 each from France and Germany, 13 from Georgia, 12 each from Uzbekistan, Hungary, and Poland, 11 from Mexico, 10 each from Nigeria, Belarus, Bulgaria, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Others include 9 each from the United Kingdom and Canada; 8 from Brazil and Kazakhstan; 6 each from the UAE, Slovakia, Belgium, and Romania; 5 each from Serbia, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Afghanistan, Austria, and India; 4 each from Jordan, Bangladesh, Turkiye, Ukraine, Sri Lanka, Kuwait, Bahrain, the U.S., Finland, and the Netherlands; 3 each from Qatar, the Philippines, Croatia, and Denmark; 2 each from Nepal, Lebanon, Yemen, Kyrgyzstan, Sweden, Sudan, Cyprus, and Slovenia.

Finally, one citizen each was evacuated from Tunisia, South Africa, the Maldives, Myanmar, Cuba, the Vatican, Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Latvia, Egypt, Australia, and Belize.
