Azerbaijan house in Istanbul reopens after renovation

The Azerbaijan House in the Turkish World Cultural Neighborhood in Istanbul was officially reopened to the public with a ceremonial event following renovation and restoration, a project led by the Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Turkiye.

Axar.az informs according to the Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Turkiye, the ceremony was attended by Nuri Aslan, acting mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality; Samir Abbasov, director of the Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Turkiye; Murshud Mammadov, consul at our consulate in Istanbul; state officials; representatives of the diplomatic corps in Istanbul; leaders of non-governmental organizations; members of the local Azerbaijani diaspora; media representatives; and other guests.

It should be noted that the Turkish World Cultural Neighborhood, an open-air museum in Istanbul, also features various exhibits showcasing the cultures of Turkic-speaking peoples.
