Azerbaijan presents Khudavang monastery documentary -

A documentary video has been prepared about the Khudavang Monastery, a historically significant monument of global importance.

Axar.az reports that the information was provided by the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons.

It was noted that the video was produced with the organizational support of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, and with the backing of the Special Representative Office of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Kalbajar district and the Ministry of Culture.

The Khudavang Monastery, constructed between the 6th and 13th–18th centuries and described in Azerbaijan as the “pearl of Albanian temples,” is a historic monument. The video provides a detailed overview of the monastery’s historical and architectural features, as well as its significance to the region’s cultural heritage. The project aims to promote the region’s centuries-old history and its material and spiritual heritage.
