The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry has responded to the claims of the Armenians.

The next attempt of the Armenian defense ministry to accuse the Azerbaijani armed forces of opening fire at civilians aims to conceal the current tense criminal situation in the Armenian side, said the Azerbaijani ministry.

The ministry made the remarks while commenting on absurd information of the Armenian side regarding the fact that Armenian shepherd Hakob Hambartsumyan was allegedly shot dead by Azerbaijani soldiers.

One of the remarkable aspects is that the village named in the information disseminated by the Armenian side is located far from the contact line of troops. We are assuring that the Azerbaijani side has no relation with the death of Hakob Hambartsumyan, the ministry said.
