On October 15, First Vice President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva attended the ceremony of outstanding oriental scientist, Honored Scientist of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, personal pensioner of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Vasim Mammadaliyev.

Axar.az informs that, First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva has arrived in the Taza Pir Mosque in the capital to attend the ceremony of academician Vasim Mammadaliyev.

Mehriban Aliyeva met with members of Vasim Mammadaliyev's family and offered his sincere condolences on behalf of President Ilham Aliyev and on his own behalf.
