The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population has clarified media reports about the provision of assistance to citizens in the amount of the minimum wage.

Axar.az informs that, Fazil Talibov, head of the ministry's public relations and communications department, told that the working group on employment and social issues, established by a decree of President Ilham Aliyev, had prepared proposals on social protection of citizens.

He noted that these proposals are currently being considered and detailed information will be provided to the public in the coming days.

It should be noted that economist Natig Jafarli told that it is possible to provide one-time assistance to each Azerbaijani citizen up to the minimum wage - about 250 manat.
