Famous Ukrainian military journalist and public activist Roman Bochkala had the opportunity to interview Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during a working visit to Baku.

He noted that the Azerbaijani President spoke about the details of the liberation of the occupied territories.

The Azerbaijani leader said that the enemy did everything possible to strengthen its position. But thanks to the courage of the Azerbaijani military, we again managed to defeat the invaders:

"The enemy has been very active in strengthening the line of defense for almost 30 years. And even when you visit the liberated areas - you have probably seen it, especially in the direction of Fizuli - there are several lines of defense.

In addition, long-range firing points, even all their trenches, were fired upon so that if we entered, we would not be exposed to artillery fire. Therefore, breaking the defense required great courage.

And our offensive units, which destroyed the line of defense, showed real heroism. Therefore, the main task was to break the line of defense.

And we knew roughly where they were waiting for us, and we were going from a place where it was hard to even imagine.
