A parliamentary delegation led by Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova arrived in St. Petersburg, Russia on October 12 to participate in the 3rd Eurasian Women's Forum.

The delegation includes chairman of the parliamentary committee Hijran Huseynova, MPs Parvin Karimzade, Sevinj Fataliyeva, Ulviya Hamzayeva, Fatma Yildirim and other officials.

The delegation was welcomed at Pulkovo Airport in St. Petersburg by Consul General of Azerbaijan in St. Petersburg Sultan Gasimov, Chairman of the St. Petersburg Committee on Foreign Affairs Yevgeny Grigoriev, Permanent Representative of the Milli Majlis to the CIS PA Aydin Jafarov and other officials.

The Speaker of the Milli Majlis is expected to address the forum to be held at the Tavriya Palace in St. Petersburg. At the forum, members of the delegation will express the views of the Azerbaijani side on the issues discussed at the event, and express their views.

During the visit, Parliament Speaker Sahiba Gafarova is expected to meet with the heads of delegations participating in the event. The sides will exchange views on issues of mutual interest.

The visit will end on October 14.
