After Azerbaijan freed its lands from occupation, France showed its true face.

Axar.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev said this on August 5 when he accepted the credentials of the newly appointed extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Burkina Faso to Azerbaijan, Vinta Some.

Touching on cooperation within international organizations, the President of Azerbaijan noted the importance of providing mutual support in the UN and the Non-Aligned Movement. President Ilham Aliyev emphasized that Azerbaijan has successfully chaired the Non-Aligned Movement for four years and stated that one of the topics that our country pays special attention to during this period is colonialism, neo-colonialism and the fight against it. Noting that the neo-colonial policy carried out by France arouses a feeling of disgust, the head of state emphasized that Azerbaijan raised its voice against this policy and demanded independence and freedom for the peoples enslaved by France, which has a bloody history of colonialism. President Ilham Aliyev stated that Azerbaijan's non-governmental organizations are actively working in this direction within the framework of the international non-governmental movement.

Speaking about France's prejudiced position against our country, President Ilham Aliyev noted that after liberating its lands from occupation, France showed its true face and acted unfairly against our country in the UN and the European Union.
