The presidents of Turkiye and Russia will hold a bilateral meeting at the BRICS summit in Kazan.

Axar.az reports with reference to the press service of the Kremlin that this was decided in a telephone conversation between the President of Russia Volodymyr Putin and the President of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

It was noted that Recep Tayyip Erdogan congratulated his Russian colleague on his birthday.

The leaders expressed their satisfaction with the constructive character of Russia-Turkiye relations and their readiness for further close interaction. Some current bilateral and international issues, including the dangerous development of the situation in the Middle East, were also discussed.

It should be noted that the BRICS summit will be held in Kazan, Russia, on October 22-24.
