Azerbaijan’s humanitarian aid has been distributed in Aleppo, Syria.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the Azerbaijan Embassy in Syria.

It was noted that the Embassy of Azerbaijan in the Syrian Arab Republic took part in distributing humanitarian aid at the internally displaced persons (IDP) camp in Karakopru village, located in Aleppo province.

It is worth mentioning that on December 30 last year, in response to the humanitarian issues arising after the collapse of the Assad regime in Syria, the first humanitarian aid convoy from Azerbaijan set off for Syria. The convoy included nearly 200 tons of food and supplies.

According to the information we received, 8,000 displaced families, or around 32,000 to 40,000 people, benefited from the 200 tons of humanitarian aid provided by the Republic of Azerbaijan to the brotherly people of Syria.
