On March 6, as part of a visit to Ganja, First Vice-President and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva and her daughters Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva visited the Perinatal Center of the Ganja City United Hospital.

Axar.az reports that the Director of the Ganja City United Hospital, Ilkin Ismayilov, provided information about the Perinatal Center, which serves citizens from Ganja and surrounding regions.

It was noted that the Perinatal Center is a medical institution that provides highly specialized diagnostic, consultative, and treatment assistance to women preparing to become mothers, including newborn babies.

During the tour of the medical institution, the Perinatal Center was presented with uvulas and an ultrasound examination device by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

During the visit to the newborn babies, the mothers were also presented with gifts from the Foundation.

It should be noted that one of the priority areas in the activities of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation is the healthcare sector. The Foundation's projects such as "The Highest Care for Children with Diabetes", "For a Life Without Thalassemia", "Reconstruction and Construction of Medical Institutions", and many other charity events are an important support to the healthcare sector. In addition to the capital, Baku, modern healthcare facilities are being built in the regions and equipped with the latest medical equipment.
