The Moscow-Yerevan flight of the Russian Azimuth airline returned to Moscow's Vnukovo International Airport 40 minutes after takeoff due to technical problems.

Axar.az reports citing Armenian media.

The plane took off from Vnukovo at 08:40 (09:40 Baku time). Forty minutes later, the crew informed passengers that the aircraft was returning to the airport due to a technical issue.

Passengers were transferred to another plane.
