The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) maintains working contacts with Yerevan, and the organization's obligations towards Armenia remain in place.

Axar.az reports that this was announced by CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov in an exclusive interview with Izvestia.

"We maintain working contacts with Yerevan. I would like to emphasize once again that the Republic of Armenia remains an ally, and the organization's obligations towards the country remain in effect. As for the signals of readiness to resume cooperation with the CSTO, the format of relations has not changed and remains the same," he said.

Armenia froze its participation in the CSTO in February 2024.
