The National Hydrometeorological Service has issued yellow and orange warnings regarding windy weather conditions expected in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, as well as in some regions, from the afternoon of May 19 to the morning of May 20.

Axar.az reports that the service informed that northwesterly winds will blow in Kalbajar, Lachin, Fuzuli, Jabrayil, Zangilan, Aghdam, Aghdara, Shusha, Khankendi, Khojavand, Gubadli, Tartar, Barda, Yevlakh, Aghjabedi, Gadabay, Goygol, Gazakh, Beylagan, Salyan, Imishli, Sabirabad, Shirvan, Bilasuvar, Goychay, Aghdash, Kurdamir, Zardab, Ujar, Saatli, Khachmaz, Shabran, Siyazan, Altiaghaj, Sheki, Gakh, Zagatala, Balakan, Oguz, Gabala, Shamakhi, Aghsu, Gusar, Guba, Ismayilli, Jalilabad, Lerik, Yardimli, Masalli, Lankaran, Astara and Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, with wind speeds of 13.9-20.7 m/s.

Northwesterly winds will blow in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, Tovuz, Samukh, Agstafa, Dashkesan, Ganja, Shamkir, Mingachevir, Naftalan, Goranboy, Gobustan, Neftchala, Hajigabul, and Khizi, with wind speeds reaching 20.8-28.4 m/s.
