Iran vows to protect ties with Armenia

Iran will not allow hostile forces to disrupt its strategic relations with Armenia.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Ali Akbar Ahmadian, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, during a meeting with Armen Grigoryan, Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia.

Ahmadian stressed that foreign forces are not interested in stability in the South Caucasus.

According to him, close cooperation and further strengthening of the strategic partnership between Iran and Armenia in all areas will contribute to strengthening peace and stability in the region.

In this regard, he noted the importance of fully implementing joint projects.
