Azerbaijan's national futsal team have drawn 2-2 with Czechia in their first home match of the main qualifying round for the FIFA Futsal World Cup.

Axar.az reports that the Group 12 match was played at the Lankaran Olympic Sports Complex.

Kanan Manafov scored for Azerbaijan, while Czech player Radim Zaruba also scored an own goal. Michal Seidler found the net for Czechia, while Azerbaijan's Murad Guliyev scored an own goal.

Czechia lead Group 12 with four points from two matches. Latvia are second with one point from one game, while Azerbaijan are third with one point from two matches.

Azerbaijan will play their next match against Latvia on November 8 at 20:00 at the Baku Sports Palace.
