UEFA will allocate funds to Azerbaijani clubs

UEFA will allocate financial resources to the teams that will travel to the European Cups' qualifying matches.

Axar.az reports this was stated by Asif Asgarov, General Manager of Qarabag FC.

According to him, those clubs will be paid 40,000 euros to organize a charter flight of the visiting team.

Notably, in the 2020/2021 season, Qarabag will represent Azerbaijan in the Champions League, and Neftchi, Keshla, and Sumgayit in the Europa League. All four teams will start meeting in the first qualifying round. Qualifying matches will consist of 1 game.
