Today, the U-17 World Beach Wrestling Championship was held in Constanta, Romania.

Axar.az reports that 4 athletes represented our country in the World Cup under the leadership of head coach Oyan Nazariani and coach Agahuseyn Mustafayev.

Huseyn Sevdimov (50 kg), Ziya Goyushov (60 kg), Vusal Aliyev (70 kg) and Anar Jafarli (80 kg) performed successfully. So, our wrestlers became world champions by defeating all their opponents.

Thus, our team, which scored the maximum result, became the world champion in the team score with 100 points. Moldova took the second place with 61 points, and France took the third place with 48 points.

Let us remind you that our team also showed maximum results in the European Championship held in Katerini, Greece in July.
