Our judoka became the world champion

Azerbaijani judoka Zelim Kotsoyev won the world championship held in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates.

Axar.az reports that our athlete, competing in the 100 kg weight class, won the Canadian Shadi Elnahasa in the final.

It should be noted that the World Cup will end on May 24. Hidayat Heydarov (73 kg) has won a gold medal so far. Azerbaijan is represented in the competition by 11 judokas.
