Azerbaijan's teenage boxer Safter Mammadzade reached the finals of the European Championship held in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Axar.az reports that according to the information provided by the Azerbaijan Boxing Federation, the national member fighting in the +80 kg weight class met Armenian Grach Khachatryan in the semi-finals.

The fight ended with the victory of our boxer. Mammadzade defeated his opponent 4:1 (30:27, 29:28, 30:27, 30:27, 28:29) and qualified for the final.

He will clarify his relationship with Russian Rustam Hasanov in the match for the championship. The fight will take place on June 30.

It should be noted that 3 more boxers of our team will participate in the semi-final match.
