Azerbaijani athletes won 12 medals at the 1st "CISM" Open Kickboxing Championship for military personnel held in Antalya, Turkiye.

Axar.az reports that Elvin Mammadov (54 kg) and Amin Guliyev (67 kg), trained by the Head of the Sports Training Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Police Lieutenant Colonel, and multiple World and European Champion Eduard Mammadov, defeated all their opponents to claim gold.

Additionally, Eduard Mammadov was named the best head coach of the tournament, which featured athletes from 11 countries.

The Azerbaijani national team finished the competition with a total of 7 gold, 1 silver, and 4 bronze medals.
