Wildfire: A state of emergency declared in Russia -

A state of emergency has been declared in the Kejemsky district of Russia's Krasnoyarsk region due to a sharp increase in forest fires.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Krasnoyarsk branch of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

According to the report, since August 11, access to forests by people and vehicles has been restricted.

Rescuers instructed to be careful with the fire, including if any fire is detected, to immediately inform the operational services.

At present, 33 forest fires have been registered on 2,532 hectares in the region.
