Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó expressed outrage over Ukraine’s strike on the Druzhba oil pipeline in Russia’s Bryansk region.

Axar.az informs, in a post on Facebook, he said Hungary is currently Ukraine’s primary supplier of electricity and plays a vital role in its energy security. “Without us, Ukraine’s energy security would be rather unstable. In this context, the latest Ukrainian attack on the Druzhba pipeline—which supplies oil to Hungary and is essential for our own energy security—is particularly outrageous,” he stated.

The minister urged Ukraine to “stop endangering Hungary’s energy supply security” and to cease attacks on energy delivery routes leading to Hungary. “This is a war that we, Hungarians, have nothing to do with,” he added.
