First Lady Melania Trump has threatened to sue Hunter Biden for over $1 billion after he claimed she was introduced to Donald Trump by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Axar.az, citing BBC, reports that her lawyers called the remarks “false, disparaging, defamatory and inflammatory,” demanding a retraction and apology.

Biden made the claim in an interview earlier this month, partially citing journalist Michael Wolff, whose earlier comments in The Daily Beast were later retracted.

Melania’s legal team says the allegation has caused significant financial and reputational harm. There is no evidence she met Trump through Epstein; Melania has previously said they met in 1998 at a modeling agency founder’s party. The dispute comes amid renewed public calls to release unreleased Epstein-related documents, which authorities say contain no incriminating client list.
