Azerbaijani servicemen took part in Pakistan’s Independence Day celebrations, joining a ceremonial parade in the capital.

Axar.az informs the Azerbaijani contingent marched past the reviewing stand, where the Pakistani announcer invited guests to rise in their honor:

“Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the victorious Azerbaijani army. Welcome to Pakistan! Long live the brotherhood and unity of Pakistan and Azerbaijan! The Azerbaijani army has set an example for us with its successful operations and professionalism.

When the flags of Azerbaijan and Turkiye pass, please rise.”

The parade was attended by Pakistan’s political and military leadership, along with Colonel General Karim Valiyev, First Deputy Minister of Defense and Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, representatives of Azerbaijan’s embassy and military attaché office in Pakistan, and other dignitaries.
