The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent a diplomatic protest to Moscow over the explosion of a Russian drone in the Lublin Voivodeship on the night of August 20.

Axar.az reports, citing the press service of the Polish Foreign Ministry, that Warsaw sharply condemned the crash and explosion of the UAV near the village of Osiny and accused Russia of violating Poland’s sovereignty and its obligations under the International Civil Aviation Convention.

“The Ministry considers this incident another deliberate provocation consistent with the hybrid actions carried out by the Russian Federation against both Poland and other European countries. We strongly condemn all actions by the Russian side that endanger civilians, infrastructure, and aviation,” the statement said.
