EU extends Russia sanctions for six months

The European Union has extended sanctions against Russia for six months.

Axar.az informs that this was reported on the website of the Council of the EU.

“The Council has decided to extend restrictive measures against persons undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty, and independence of Ukraine for another six months, until March 15, 2026,” it said.

The sanctions will continue to apply to more than 2,500 individuals and legal entities.
