A 7.5 magnitude earthquake struck Kamchatka.

Axar.az reports that the tremors were recorded 123 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, at a depth of 46.8 km.

The US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has declared a tsunami threat.
