US President Donald Trump met with Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani.

It was reported that the meeting between the parties took place over dinner, as planned.

Other details of the meeting were not disclosed.

It should be noted that Israel's attack on the Hamas leadership in Doha, the capital of Qatar, caused a great resonance on an international scale. Qatari officials assessed this strike as a "betrayal". Thus, the US and Israel had previously given Qatar direct assurances that Hamas leaders would not be hit on its territory.

The US side warned Qatar about the operation only 10 minutes before, which caused serious dissatisfaction in Doha.
