U.S. Senate confirms Mike Waltz as UN envoy

The US Senate has confirmed Mike Waltz's candidacy for the position of the country's permanent representative to the UN.

Axar.az reports that 47 senators supported Waltz's candidacy, while 43 senators voted against it.

It should be noted that the position of the US permanent representative to the UN has been vacant for eight months.
